I want to book an offer. How do I post a transport request?

Once you posted a transport request you receive offers from carriers depending on the shipment criteria.
Here we show you very detailed how to book such an offer.

How to book an offer

1. After submitting your shipment request, you will receive offers from Saloodo! carriers.

  • Click on “Offers to review”, then on “See all offers”.
  • Expand details to view more details about the carrier and the offer. Select the offer you prefer then click on “Book Now”.
  • Click on “Confirm Shipment” , then on “Finalize Transport Order”

2. Add the details the carriers needs to fulfill the order

  • Enter the consignor details by filling the fields for the contact person at the pick-up location.
  • Then make sure to fill in the consignee details by filling the fields for the contact person at the drop-off location.

Note: Not providing proper details for the transport order may result in transport delays which in turn could result in surcharges.

3. Your shipment is now visible in “My Transport Orders”

  • The status is from now on trackable: Check the tab “Status”, and also download your invoice from transport documents.
  • You may also track your shipment moving in the tab “Track Shipment”.
  • Once the shipment is picked-up, then delivered, the carrier will upload the proof of delivery for your approval.

5. Next steps

  • Once the shipment is picked-up, then delivered, the carrier will upload the proof of delivery for your approval.
  • Download the proof of delivery document, then if it is correct click on “Approve .
  • Your transport order is now completed and your shipment is delivered. You may still find your shipment in “archives” under “completed shipments”, where your transport documents will be kept.

Note: Not providing contact details after paying for the transport order may result in transport delays which in turn could result in surcharges, so please make sure to add the contact details of the persons at the pick-up and the delivery locations.
